Robert J Chevez, Managing Partner and Founder

Rob was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and traveled the world in a Foreign Service Family until settling in Arlington Virginia.  He attended Yorktown High School & Pine Crest Private School and later moved on to American University where he graduated with a B.S in Psychology.  While at American, Rob was the team captain and a conference champion for the wrestling team.  His competitive spirit lead him into sales and at the age of 24 he helped start CMI, a sales search firm located in Tyson’s Corner.  As the recruiting company prospered Rob and his wife, Kim, started purchasing rental properties and their interest grew more and more in pursuing real estate full time.  In 2005 he asked his business partner to buy him out of the business and in the summer of 2005 Rob & Kim struck it out on their own.  Since then they have managed not onlyto survived the real estate downturn but thrive.  Today they have a full service real estate practice.  Rob runs RC&CO. the real estate sales and marketing team, and oversees the strategic direction of The CAZA Companies, a real estate investment and development company.  Together they form a real estate powerhouse that provides their clients with a full 360 view of the market. 

Matt Megel, Buyer Specialist/Marketing Director

Matt is a licensed Realtor with over 10 years of experience in marketing and promotions with companies whose revenues range from $100 million to $500 million. Currently he is responsible for all Marketing and Transaction Management for Robert Chevez & Co. Matt has honed his skills in numerous industries, from Pharmaceutical drug development, to Banking and Finance, and most recently Real Estate.

Among his significant previous positions, Matt served as Marketing Manager of Eurofins Medinet, the Netherlands-based Central Laboratory and Microbiological testing company. He was a Financial Specialist at Wachovia Bank, and a successful Realtor with Re/Max. Matt also serves on the board of directors for the Ishan Gala Foundation which funds pediatric cancer research initiatives.

Matt Megel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Virginia Tech. He currently resides in Centreville Virginia.

Danyelle Ballard, Buyers Specialist

Danyelle is a licensed Realtor with over 10 years of experience in Business Development, specializing in the not-for-profit sector. Danyelle the buyer’s specialist for Robert Chevez & Co. has an remarkable track record of helping both first time home buyers as well as seasoned home owners find their dream homes. She is an absolute expert at understanding her clients needs and desires, and delivering world class customer service. 

Before joining Robert Chevez & Co. Danyelle had worked as a Cake Artist and has created delectable masterpieces for organizations such as the Air Force and Homewood Suites. Originally from Napa Valley, the heart of the California Wine country, Danyelle is a long time resident of Northern Virginia. 

Beth Megel, Client Care Manager

Beth delivers an excellent level of customer service to CAZA Companies with a mission focused attitude. As the Client Care Manager for Robert Chevez & Co. she assists with all transaction management for our clients. She assures that all communication with clients, other agents, and service providers are precise and all parties understand all details involved with each specific case.  Beth has an extensive background in the service industry and customer relations.  

Beth holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Murray State University.  She currently resides in Centreville, Virginia.
